ACLS Skills Testing

Prerequisites: Must have completed the American Heart Association HeartCode ACLS online AND have your Certificate of Completion (Printed or on your mobile device) with you at skills session.

Class Duration: Approximately 3.5 hours

Audience: Those who have their HeartCode ACLS Certificate of Completion after completing the online course.

Completion Card: ACLS Provider eCard is usually issued within 2 business days. A letter of completion is given to each student after succcessfully completing the skills session. The eCard is valid for 2 years.

NOTES: Part 1 of this course is taken purchased and taken ONLINE through eLearning.Heart.org. The SkillsSession & Testing (Parts 2 & 3) will be completed at 1st Choice CPR unless other arrangements have been made.

Access to the ACLS Provider Manual eBook is included with Heartcode ACLS. You will be able to access the Provider Manual from within the course.

ONLY AHA issued certificates are acceptable

When taking HeartCode courses, you are NOT required to purchase a student manual.

OPTIONAL: 2020 Handbook of ECC-This spiral bound pocket-sized reference book includes BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP references, including the algorithms, drug dosages, and related procedural descriptions along with convenient tabs to quickly reference material in critical situations. It is spiral-bound and durable. It is often on code carts. NOTE: It will be available at check-in time, and it may be used as a reference during skills evaluation.
