** NOTE: This is NOT the course for licensed healthcare providers. If you are a licensed healthcare provider, you should take the AHA BLS Provider course instead. BLS is colored blue on our calendar. **

Course Description:

ASHI's CPR and AED training course is designed specifically for laypeople, and is an excellent choice for CPR and defibrillator training (AED) in both community and workplace settings. This course will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents in adults, children and infants. This CPR and AED course conforms to the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.

Designed for:

Individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers, but who desire, or are required, to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED:

  • Emergency response teams in the workplace
  • Indepent Providers
  • Teachers, coaches
  • Parents
  • Babysitters, childcare providers


Certification:

This is a 2 Year certification.  Cards are issued at class unless the student's employer requests that they be sent to them if they are paying.   


Class Length:

The class is 3 hours.

 

 

Students will have access to an electronic student manual. Students will receive a 2 year certification card.
